This week's Romance Writers Weekly post comes to us from the lovely Xio Axelrod: It's been a while since we interviewed our characters. Here are five questions, you choose which of your characters will answer.
The amazing Carrie Elks was the previous stop on the blog hop. If you missed her, you'll definitely want to go back and check out her post.
And now, my interview questions for Domingo Torres, center fielder of my upcoming novel, CAPTIVATED.
1. What's your favorite word?
Dom: It's always been Grand-Slam. But lately, I have a new favorite word: Irisa.
2. What is your fondest childhood memory?
Dom: Playing on the same Little League team with my brothers, and winning the championship together. They play pro baseball too now. It would be cool for a few of us to play on the same team again someday.
3. What one thing in your past do you wish you could do differently?
Dom: The game where my line drive up the middle hit the pitcher and knocked him out of the game. Guy was messed up for months. What would I have done differently? I would've taken the pitch. It was a 3-0 count. Usually with those, I don't swing. That time, I did. Damn bad luck. Guy's okay now but it was rough going for a while. Gotta make it up to him.
4. Vanilla or chocolate?
Dom: Chocolate. Irisa likes chocolate... which gives me an idea...
5. If you could have lunch with one famous person (alive or not) who would it be and why?
Dom: Roberto Clemente. Not just because of his Hall of Fame resume. Twelve seasons as an All-Star and a Golden Golve winner, 3,000 major league hits, NL MVP and World Series MVP. The guy was a class act all the way. His charity work was as impressive as his MLB career.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Look for Domingo and Irisa's story later this summer.
I'm the last stop on the hop. If you missed any of the other authors, please circle back to Brenda Margriet, then make your way back here.
Until next time, Happy Reading!
