This week, I posed the question for the Romance Writers Weekly blog hop.
You've been gifted with a super power. Which do you choose? Why?
A.S. Fenichel was the previous stop. If you missed her, you'll definitely want to go back and check out what she picked!
So many super powers... Hmmm...
Invisibility would come in handy. So would the ability to manipulate time or the weather.
Super speed, like the Flash, would be awesome when I'm running late or on a writing deadline.
Super strength, like the Hulk, would be nice when I need to heave cars or buildings out of my way.
X-ray vision would be cool (and I could finally ditch my contact lenses). And I like the idea of being able to fly like Superman, especially when I'm stuck in a traffic jam. Talk about freedom.
But the power I'd choose is having the ability to heal, like Wolverine (but I don't want the blades coming out of my hands...). Think about it. You get hurt. You fix yourself. Then you're back to whatever you were doing. This would have come in handy when I strained my peroneal tendon while running. A month recovery time? Wearing an immobilizer? Not necessary with my awesome super power.
But what would make it even better would be the ability to heal others too. And not only physical wounds, but emotional ones as well.
Now that would be a cool super power.
Raine Balkera is up next. Follow me over to see her chosen super power.
Which one would you choose?
