This week, I've posed the following question to the group:
Guess who's coming to dinner? Given the choice of any authors in the world (living or deceased), who would you want as a guest?
Hopefully, you've joined me from Leslie Hachtel's blog.

Seeing someone reading a book you love, is seeing the book recommending a person.
This is true.
And the chance to meet and talk to the creative souls who penned those pages? Yeah, that would be awesome.
There's a long list of authors I'd like to invite, so I'd have to turn it into a dinner party. And where better to hold this celebration of literary greatness than a library?

There have been so many books that have resonated with me, so many where I've read a line and suddenly something clicks, and life is viewed differently.
My guest list: F. Scott Fitzgerald, Charlotte Bronte, Jane Austen, Maeve Binchy, Nora Roberts, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Jayne Ann Krentz, Cherry Adair, Lucy Maud Montgomery, Neil Gaiman, C.S. Lewis, and J.K. Rowling.
Of course, I keep thinking of authors to add, and fun book-themed decorations and food and drinks. I know one thing for sure, with these people, it's going to be a magical night.
Next up on the hop, head on over to Gemma Brocato and see who's on her guest list.
Who would be on yours?
