Favorite Holiday Song - A Romance Writer's Weekly Post

December 9, 2014

Today's question comes to us from Xio Axelrod:

What is your favorite holiday song?

If you're following the blog hop, Dani Jace was the previous stop. If you missed her, please swing back around.

Carol of the Bells is one I love. One reason is that my high school chorus class had to learn it for a Christmas concert. My friends and I had so much fun learning it, and goofing off, in the weeks leading up to the show.

Andy Williams' rendition of It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year is another favorite. I love the energy and excitement in his voice.

Being of Scottish descent, I have a certain affinity for Auld Lang Syne. Mairi Campbell's version is absolutely beautiful.

And, throwing in another New Year's song, I love Harry Connick Jr.'s version of What Are You Doing New Year's Eve? So many story ideas fill my head when I hear it.

Now, let's head over to visit Sarah Hegger and find out about her favorite holiday song.

And please share your favorite in the comments below!
