The Candy Hearts LGBTQIA2S+ charity anthology is back for a third volume!

You’ll get 21 low-angst stories set at Valentine’s Day. Even better is this year, each story also involves a “meet-ugly” or bad first impression. What’s more satisfying than a happily ever after that started on the wrong foot?

This year’s participating authors:

A.D. Ellis, BA Tortuga, Becca Seymour, Beck Grey, Bix Barrow, BL Jones, Chantal Mer, D.C. Emerson, David Gray, Deb Sutton, E.M. Denning, EJ Stoll, Ellie Ash, Essie Sloane, Evie McGlynn, Madalyn George, Merry Farmer, Minerva Howe, Riley Long, Stella Rainbow, Susan Scott Shelley, Vinni George

All proceeds will benefit the Rainbow Railroad, which helps LGBTQIA2S+ people get to safety worldwide.

Including RUFF DAY from Susan Scott Shelley and Chantal Mer

Waking up to the worst morning in the history of mornings, the last thing Jaggar Michaels has time for is a charity softball game on Valentine’s Day, in the snow. There’s no way he can get out of going. It’s for a good cause and being run by his friend. When he encounters the grumpy umpire, who only knows how to scowl, Jaggar regrets his decision about helping.

Dealing with an injured knee, and the one game he was set to umpire turning into five, Ian Vale is cold, in pain, and not in the mood to deal with softball players who take the Mutts About You charity softball game as seriously as a major league championship. Especially one particular player who is too argumentative and way too attractive.

Like the shelter dogs who've been overlooked and misjudged, Ian and Jaggar learn that first impressions can be deceiving. And maybe, if they give each other a chance, what started out as the worst day ever could turn into the best.
