Slater Knox and Noah Alzado are best friends, teammates, roommates, and secretly in love with each other. This was one of the hardest books for me to write (mostly due to external factors), but it's also one of my favorites. I love their relationship. I hope you love their story too.

The songs fit Slater and Noah's relationship pretty well. Buzz is all about wanting. Queen's You're My Best Friend and Shinedown's Thick as Thieves sum up their relationship (the friendship and everything else) perfectly. Kryptonite is very Slater, with his love of comic books and how he feels about Noah. Song #3 is very fitting for their relationship early in the book. Check out these lyrics:

If You're Gone, Bet My Heart, Closer, Possession, and Smile capture the middle of the story. Hearts Burst into Fire, Nothing Compares 2 U, and It's Not Over come in strong to batter their hearts, and lastly The Man to Hold the Water, I Live My Life for You, and Only Love round out the story, steeped in love.
